About EarthSong Lodge

Earthsong Lodge started as a dream, a dream to create a place where guests could escape the crowds and find a quiet refuge in a land rich in beauty and wildlife in the heart of Alaska.

Located just 17 miles north of Denali National Park on scenic and historic Stampede Road, our lodging is located above the tree line on the open tundra. There are sweeping views of the mountains and excellent chances for wildlife viewing. You have your own view of Mt. McKinley, just 4 miles down the road from our lodge.

Alaskan Sky

Your Denali Hosts

Both Karin and Jon are accomplished authors with published books about their Alaskan experiences as well. They welcome you to their home and the land they love.

Jon and the Dogs

Sled dog guide, expedition leader, and former Denali National Park Ranger and Naturalist, Jon has a wealth of information on the area and its plant and animal life. Jon also built the lodge and all the cabins by hand. Evening naturalist slide shows by Jon or the lodge staff, and are in the coffeehouse. All the photos were taken by Jon.

Karin

Jon and Karin Nierenberg are happy to share their knowledge and love of the outdoors with you. Karin’s artistic gifts are reflected in the personally decorated guest cabins, lodge, and in the unique dolls and knitted projects she creates.
