"I have one regret about staying here... that's we only stayed one night. If you want a taste of Rural Alaska without giving up any amenities this is the place to stay. We needed some place near Denali and were torn between staying here and Aurora lodge, the view here is unbeatable. The cabins are cozy and have everything to make you comfortable.concentrated! Our room was toasty with the heat set high when we first arrived but we were able to turn it down and open the windows and be very comfortable. There were even fans available. There's a community mini kitchen with a full size fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee pot. There is also a small cafe on site that has some of the best cinnamon rolls and other sandwiches for convience at appropriate prices, if you don't bring your own. Check in/check out via the mailbox if its more concient!"
"We've gone to Denali every year for the last 10 years. Staying at Earthsong is the best experience. Amanda and Mike have created a wonderful atmosphere. The cabins are clean and comfortable. Henry's diner has great breakfast sandwiches and the most awesome cinnamon rolls. We definitely recommend!"
"EarthSong cabins were WONDERFUL!!! We spent over a week hiking Denali and were so very pleased with the accomodations at Earth Song Lodge and Cabins. One early morning we accidently locked our keys in our cabin and the owner cheerfully came right away to help us out! He was SO KIND and caring! They have an extra cabin with a microwave and refrigerator....also had bear spray we could use! We three used their bear spray, then returned it on the last day, saving a lot of money since were were flying back to MO and could not carry it on the plane. The cabins were very clean and just the right size...we liked the 2 rooms very much! The location was WONDERFUL....so close to Denali, yet not too close to heavy traffic. We felt very safe! The other campers were very respectful and kind. We'll stay at EarthSong again when traveling back to Alaska. Was a WONDERFUL experience!!!"
"Quaint Cabin in the middle of picturesque Denali. The new owners were fantastic, friendly, and seemed energetic about life. Made great breakfast samwhiches and the coffee was perfect. One cabin our friends were in did not have plug outlets that held a plug tight. The owner said he would get right on that. We appreciate that kind of assurance. Would definately come back if travels brought us back"
"We enjoyed are time here. Very remote and away from the tourist zone in Denali."
"We had a great stay for two nights at Earthsong Cabins in July. It was quiet and convenient to Denali. We'd recommend it to everyone."
"I have stayed here the last 2 summers. I love this place. It is clean, comfortable and the location is everything. Going to Denali? I highly recommend."
"Had the best time here! The cabin was clean and cozy. The breakfast place had great coffee to start the day and to meet other people staying at the lodge. Would highly recommend."
"Very nice family owned lodge. Rooms are nicely appointed with comfortable and clean beds. Wifi is available but the signal can be a bit spotty. Overall great place to stay with reasonable rates compared to other places in the area"
"From the moment I saw the idyllic cabins, until the moment I left, I felt relaxed and comfortable. Every morning started at Henry's Coffeehouse with delicious coffee and cinnamon roles, as well as excellent tips and advice from the owners, Amanda and Mike! After a long day exploring the nearby national park, it was such a pleasure to come back to the clean and comfortable cabin to get a good night's rest. I highly recommend EarthSong to anyone going to Alaska's interior!"
"Tucked away just a short drive from the entrance of Denali National Park, it offers the perfect balance of peaceful wilderness and accessibility. Be on the look out for wildlife as you travel to and from Denali as we saw moose with calves twice. Once a mile or less for EarthSong."
"Such a cool location only 30 minutes from Denali Park. Get the queen suite for the best porch view! We were in 1 of the 2 cabins that aren't 2-bedroom with a mountain view, both from the porch and window next to the bed. The bathroom is small, but we were glad to at least have one to ourselves with hot water. The cabin and site are cozy all around, from the rustic cabin vibe to the library yurt (with board games and Alaska guide books, too) to the coffeehouse a very short walk away from the cabins. The heaters in the bedroom and living room work VERY well and it takes some figuring out to get it just right, but I'm sure the high heat is important in the wintertime!"

"We had such a wonderful stay at EarthSong Lodge during our Alaska trip. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and the room was very comfortable. Our kids especially enjoyed the stay and had a great time, which made it even more memorable for us as a family.
Amanda and her husband were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. You can really feel the care and personal attention they put into running the lodge and making their guests feel comfortable.
We truly enjoyed our time there and would absolutely recommend EarthSong Lodge to anyone visiting the Denali area, especially families. Beautiful location, comfortable rooms, and genuinely wonderful hosts. We would definitely love to come back again!"
"Highly recommend! We had a nice visit. The cabins are within driving distance to the national park entrance. It was rainy and cloudy when we came but cleared up one day so we could see the mountain and a rainbow near the hotel!
Rooms were clean, there is a path connecting the cabins with a cute garden. There’s also a library yurt with books, guides and board games to borrow, and a separate building with a communal fridge and microwave, not a full kitchen.
We met the owner at the coffee shop next door, and he is also a builder and woodworker, so he added a lot of charming custom burl accents to the facilities!"
"Great location close to Denali national Park yet you still feel like you’re out in the wilderness. The owners are very personable and helpful. Our cabin was comfortable and equipped with what we needed. They have a great café that they open in the morning to serve coffee and delicious cinnamon roll rolls. Earth song was my favorite place that I stayed in Alaska."
"Very friendly and helpful hosts! Went above and beyond to help us when we were stranded by the side of the road coming back from an excursion."
"EarthSong Lodge is a collection of cabins nestled in the shadow of Mt Denali in Healy. If you want a true taste of Alaska, this resort is a great place to stay. The cabins are very eclectic with a clean bathroom and comfortable beds, but beware, they do not have all the modern amenities you would find in a bigger rental property. We absolutely loved it! The new owners are wonderful to work with and were very responsive to all questions we had. An added BONUS is that they have a marvelous little coffee shop on the property where you can get some coffee , of your preferred style, and maybe a breakfast sandwich and/or a huge cinnamon roll to start your day. We did all of the above! Again, we loved this Lodge and would come back in a heartbeat if ever in this area again. It’s a true treasure."
"We absolutely loved our stay at EarthSong Lodge! The units are quaint, cozy, and just perfect. The location was great and very convenient for everything we wanted to do, but still had that peaceful Alaska feel.
The new owners were so sweet, kind, and welcoming. You can tell they really care about the lodge and the people who stay there. We felt right at home.
They recently took over EarthSong Lodge, and I truly wish them all the luck in the world. They have a very special little piece of Alaska, and I hope others enjoy it as much as we did. We would definitely stay here again."
"Perfect setting in a quiet, remote part of Healy, AK, yet we felt in touch with the hosts and appreciated their attention to detail. I also appreciate the way that another B & B owner recommended that we contact EarthSong when we couldn't get into their place. Loved the small-town feel of working together to make guests feel welcome."
"We stayed at Earthsong as our base for exploring the Denali area. The cabin was fairly basic but very comfortable with everything we needed. The yurt with items you could borrow or use, along with the library were very nice touches. Also enjoyed the coffee shop next door. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area."
"Comfortable, quiet, peaceful, delightful. Stayed in a two bedroom cabin with my Dad. It would have been very tight with one or two more people (even if that was my Mum and my husband) -- not a lot of extra space, but fine for two! The drive from the main highway to the cabins was lovely. One morning a mama fox and her kit were playing on the road, and another morning a moose didn't mind us at all! Would 100% stay again."
"Nice place...rooms on smaller side, but adequate.
Little ways out of the way, but still handy enough to"
"This little gem is 15 mins from Denali! If you’re looking for somewhere not directly in town but close enough to everything, this place is for you! We saw moose everyday we drove back to the lodge and a family of foxes! We saw more wildlife on our drive to the lodge than we did on a hike in Denali! It was awesome! I am so grateful we found these cabins! The individual cabins themselves were comfy and cozy and truly charming, if we ever get the chance to visit Denali again, we are absolutely booking Earthsong and I 100000% recommend it to anyone visiting! We loved everything. The hosts were wonderful as well! They were available, communicative, friendly, and hosted the coffee shop attached to the cabins in the morning. Great coffee, great cinnamon rolls. Loved it so so much!"
"Earthsong Lodge & Cabins is an absolute gem tucked away near the edge of Denali National Park, offering the quintessential Alaskan wilderness experience without sacrificing an ounce of comfort. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and genuine kindness of the hosts set a welcoming tone that made us feel instantly at home.
The property itself is breathtaking. Set against a backdrop of sweeping northern landscapes, the grounds are meticulously maintained and blend seamlessly into the surrounding wilderness. Every detail—from the stunning handcrafted woodwork to the peaceful outdoor spaces—reflects a deep love for the land and a commitment to guest comfort.
Our cabin was exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed with everything needed for a relaxing retreat after a long day of exploring the park. Waking up to the quiet majesty of Alaska right outside our door was an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a place that combines heartfelt hospitality, spotless accommodations, and jaw-dropping natural beauty, Earthsong is truly unmatched"
"EarthSong cabins are what you expect in Alaska. The rooms were clean, the setting was "remote" outside of Healy, and you could get coffee and a little morning snack at the coffee house. Healy is a cool little town with a few restaurants and there is hiking to do in the area."
"The AI summary of comments is completely accurate; EarthSong Lodge's cottages and grounds are cozy, comfortable, and clean, and include an excellent coffee shop next door run by the friendly (new and young) owners of the lodge. Their tip the first day that driving to the end of Stampede Rd. (5 mi. on dirt) could give us our best chance to see the elusive, often cloud covered peak of Mt. Denali worked wonderfully as the sky was clear at that time. The extra 10 miles above Healy from the park entrance (approx. 20 miles in all) is definitely worth it."
"This was an adorable, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The grounds are beautiful. Not far from Denali. Would definitely stay there again."
"Earthsong Lodge is a truly Alaskan experience. Settled into the sprawling tundra with epic views of the Alaskan range and howling sled dogs nearby, it can't be beat in terms of access to the Denali National Park area, just a short drive away.
Rooms don't have the usual hotel amenities (TV, fridge, microwave), but are comfortable and clean and cozy and quiet. A shared space allows guests to refrigerate and microwave food, heat up water, etc. A lovely yurt provides a library, games, and comfy sitting spaces.
The new owner is friendly and helpful and full of great suggestions! One excellent on-site perk is Henry's Cafe, open from 7-9:30 a.m., where you can get coffee drinks, breakfast fare, bag lunches, and homemade cinnamon rolls every day of the week.
There is a fully stocked nearby grocery story in Healy, along with a diner-like cafe, a cute coffee shop, and the 49th State Brewery, which has excellent beer and also good take-out food options.
This was the second time I stayed at Earthsong--the first time for about four nights in 2024, and for a week in 2026. I will go back. Check it out!"
"I've brought small tour groups to Earthsong Lodge the past several years. It's still my favorite place to stay, as the new owners Mike and Amanda have continued the love and care of the original owners/founders. Mike and Amanda have taken a great leap of faith in purchasing Earthsong Lodge and relocating from Florida to Alaska. I'm happy to say that I plan to continue to stay at Earthsong Lodge on my annual Alaska visits."
"The lodge was the perfect location to get away and enjoy the natural beauty of Alaska's wilderness. The cabins were cute and provided what we needed. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We especially enjoyed an evening rainbow, our white chocolate cocoa and cinnamon rolls at Henry's in the morning, and the welcome smile of Wilson (the greeting pup)! We would recommend EarthSong to anyone who wants to get away and experience the beauty and peace that Alaska has to offer."
"The cabin was small, but it was great!! We stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay. The owners and the coffee shop that they run are outstanding. Make sure you try the coffee shop at least once."
"We loved our stay at Earth Song! The views were gorgeous and the owners were very friendly and attentive. We ate breakfast in the morning at their little café and it was great. They had a little hut with a refrigerator where we could keep food. They also had bear spray for us to borrow. The location was great, not far from the entrance to Denali National Park. The cabins were rustic, but well maintained and clean. We would definitely stay here again!"
"It was our favorite place we stayed in Alaska. The owners were so kind and sweet. The coffee and food at Henry’s was the best. We still are talking about it months later!!"
"We had an amazing 5 nights at EarthSong Lodge. I love the privacy of having a cabin to ourselves. The cabin (including sofa/futon and bed) was very comfortable. We could turn the heat up in the morning and then down at night for perfect sleeping conditions.
The shower was hot. The hosts provide shampoo/body wash, conditioner and soap. We had everything we needed to enjoy Denali NP.
They will also tell you where you can catch a picture of mount Denali that's only 4 miles away!
Henry's Coffeehouse (on-site) was a terrific start to our mornings. (Love the cinnamon rolls and the bagel sandwich was great as well!)
We are already planning a trip back next year (hopefully) with family."
"Recently taken over by Michael and Amanda who have maintained the delicious cinnamon rolls. Simple and basic cabins that were impeccably clean even for someone who has allergies. A few more hooks would have been great. Base-board heating kept us warm. EarthSong in Healy is the perfect place to stay for visiting Denali National Park especially if you don’t like the crowds in the canyon near the park. About a 25 minute drive. Eating/Drinking at nearby 49th state provides flexibility with long hours that match unpredictable times of finishing a hike. Look for seats at the bar if there is a wait."
"This was a great place to stay. About 10 miles outside Denali but the views were amazing. On our way to the lodge we came across 2 fox and 2 moose. in the morning we heard the sled dogs from surrounding kennels wanting breakfast. I would recommend this place."
"I was here 20 years ago when Jon was the owner and it was super basic. Over the years he built many more very simple but lovely little cabins and sold the place to a young couple who are very enthusiastic and bring an energetic vibe. We stayed in Cabin 12 and spent tons of time on the porch drinking in the scenery. Coffee and bagels at the cafe was great. There is a community fridge so we had breakfast on the porch and cheese and wine later in the day. We loved it!"
"My sister and I stayed here for a couple of nights and found this to be the perfect place to stay while visiting Denali Natl Park and surrounding area, away from the busy-ness of Denali Park- near the entrance to the park. Give me Earthsong Lodge & Cabins any day! It's beautiful, quiet, and Mike and his small team do an incredible job of making this a welcoming, friendly respite. The cabins are ample, cozy, clean, & comfortable. Shades and curtains cut the light when needed. People all respect each other's space here. I wish we'd stayed longer! DO visit Henry's Coffee Shop and have a great cup o' jo, along with the best homemade cinnamon roll of your life! Thank you to Mike and Team for a wonderful stay!"
"Lovely cabin for a Denali trip. Cabin was clean, and the coffee shop was great."
"If you have a car and are not set on staying in one of the big, cruise-line lodges, this place is for you! A 20-minute drive north of Healy and the park entrance, EarthSong is set off the main road, giving a wonderful feeling of being in the backcountry. The small, two-person lodges are charming, well-furnished, and were loved by all. Henry's Cafe, immediately next to the lodges, has great coffee and terrific breakfast options."
"We loved our stay with Earthsong! The coffee and breakfast in the morning at Henry’s was wonderful as well. Would highly recommend and will stay there again!"
"Family and I had a wonderful 2 night stay here! The cabins are quiet and cute!"
"Unique lodging close to Denali National Park. Beautiful views of the mountains from these adorable cabins. Be sure to grab some coffee and cocoa on the premise and take a tundra walk and tour with the nearby Moon Dog Kennel!"
"We rented a one-room cabin for 2 nights at the end of July. We loved everything about this place. It is located just outside of the crowds and busyness of the downtown Denali tourist area. If you have a car and want to enjoy a peaceful stay immersed in nature, this is a great place to do it. The cabin was small but in the coziest way- we had a full bed, a table, a rocking chair and a small bathroom. They offer larger cabins but, for 2 people, this was great. They were very accommodating to our late arrival and check-in was easy. The bed was comfortable, the shades blocked out the light, the water pressure was good in the shower and the complimentary bath products were nice. The morning after check-in we headed to Henry's Coffeehouse which is located on property and was right next to our cabin. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the couple working the coffeehouse were actually the new owners of the lodge, Amanda and Mike. They were so nice and very conversational (we loved hearing their story about moving from Florida and buying the lodge). We also had one of the most amazing cinnamon rolls for breakfast! The conversation, and the cinnamon roll, were so good that we went back for more the second morning of our stay. As a bonus, if Mt. Denali is out, you can see it from the end of the road that the lodge is located on. When we return to the Denali area we will definitely stay here again."

"Great cabin for a daily of four. Close to Healey’s restaurants and grocery store and a great jumping off spot for adventures in Denali National Park."
"The owners are fantastic. From communication before arrival and assistance in seeing the area, to recommendations for dinner - it was really a great experience. The onsite coffee shop with exceptional cinnamon rolls and the grab and go lunches made this a highlight (especially with Gluten Free options for snacks and bread)."
"Nice quiet place to stay outside of Healey. 25 min drive to Denali Park entrance. Small coffee shop run by the owners. 2 room cabin was great for 3 guests."
"The hosts Mike & Amanda are the BEST. Super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They keep bear spray, bug spray, even binoculars on hand to borrow for your excursions. The location is quiet and remote: nothing is so pleasant as watching sunset from your cabin's deck. EarthSong is simple and rustic: no TV, no distractions, just comfortable & clean, and reasonably priced."
"Prime location. Cute cabin. Great service. Love the small options at the coffeehouse! Would 100% recommend and stay here again!"
"We stayed in Cabin 11 with a group of 5 and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with enough space for our group. The location was very convenient for visiting Denali National Park.
Overall, a lovely place to stay in the Denali area. Highly recommended!"
"Very cute and comfortable stay in healy , very good sleep with the very good bed and pillow, in the morning, you can enjoy the great view of the mountains from the room. Love it."
"We had a family cabin, with two rooms and one bathroom. Although it was tight for our family of six, it was perfect for our needs for the night. We all slept so well in the cozy cabin. The highlight was definitely Henry’s Coffeeshop, located on property. The coffee was delicious, cinnamon rolls were amazing, bagel breakfast sandwich was perfect….but the best was their options for our daughter with celiac! The owners are so kind and were so great to work with through the booking process and while on property. The location is great for all your Denali needs. Highly recommend!!"
"This is a wonderful little place to stay if you want get out of town but still have all the amenities. Cute cabins with bathrooms. The road is paved and easy to get to. Very close to Denali Park. The coffee shop is awesome and the people who run it are super friendly and helpful. Definitely a 2 thumbs up for us!"
"Nice cozy cabins away from the big crowds of people. Henry’s coffee shop has great coffee and the cinnamon rolls were delicious."
"Amazing place to stay. Just minutes away from Denali National Park visitor center. Clean comfortable rooms, coffee and breakfast shop on site, open daily 7-10am. Host service went so far that he brought us gas when we ran out a few miles away from the cabin. Many daytime activities are just minutes away such as ATV rides and horse carriage trips. We will definitely come back here!"
"This is the second time I've stayed here. It's convenient, clean and the owners are great hosts!"
"Saw a moose (see pics) on Stampede Rd about a mile from the cabin on our way in. Beautiful view from our little side porch. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Henry’s coffee shop was inexpensive and delicious. Owners were super nice. Convenient to Denali NP and to gas, grocery store, restaurants. No kitchen, but there is a community fridge and microwave available on property."
"Just finishing our one night stay here with my family, visiting from Los Angeles, love this place! Mike and Amanda are awesome, the view is spectacular, such a cool, cozy, artsy space… beds are super comfortable, everything is very clean, Mike even planted some new colorful flowers around the property, super cute! Would definitely come again!"
"Our family enjoyed our time at Earthsong Lodge and cabins. Beautiful location yet easy to access Denali and area around. Liked they had a cabin with 3 bed options. Cabins are tiny but had everything we needed. Room was clean and linens comfortable. Our kids favorite part was the road to get here! Definitely would reccomend"
"Earth song Lodge is awesome. Rooms are clean, beds are great, owners are super friendly, especially Wilson the adorable dog😁
Nice location slightly off the beaten path if you want a more quiet spot, yet very convenient to Denali park. Would recommend for sure and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!"
"Easy to book and check in upon arrival. Clean room. Friendly staff. Great coffee house right on premises- breakfast food and beverages available."
"We had an incredible stay here! We were visiting Denali National Park and this was the perfect place to stay post our all day adventure. The owners were beyond friendly and made delicious coffee and cinnamon rolls. Our cabin was comfortable and the whole lodge was SO CUTE!"
"we had a great experience with our stay, clean and comfortable, everything you need is available, either in your room or a short walk to the kiosk, Henry's is nice for coffee and breakfast with other items in the am,would highly recommend for a nice peaceful stay with a stunning view, also Mike and Amanda are on site and very accommodating, well worth staying off grid for a peaceful rest"
"Great cabins that are out of town. They have incredible views and a peaceful atmosphere! The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. They have a local coffee shop (Henry’s) with a great breakfast run by the owners."
"This place was great! It far exceeded my expectations! Beautiful cabins! Delicious cinnamon rolls! And a cute, cozy library in a yurt! So glad we stayed here!"
"It is a quiet and relaxing cabin resort away from the business of Denali. But not too far to enjoy all that Denali and the surrounding area has to offer.
Great views of the mountains in Denali.
Ample parking, with easy access to cabins."
"If you want a clean room, and a feel of being in the true outdoors while still being comfortable, than this is your place."
"The rooms are basic but clean. The proprietors are fantastic. There are kind, personable and fun. The proprietor son Jax Was wonderful with my grandson. If you ever need a reminder, that humanity is good, do come here. These people are wonderful."
"My family recently spent a few days at the Earthsong and had the best experience! The rooms and so clean and the beds are so comfortable. The ambiance of the entire lodge is perfect, we loved all the small details. The owners are so kind and made us feel right at home. Pro tip: get the cinnamon bun for breakfast! You will NOT regret it. I highly recommend you think about booking your stay here, it’s a little outside of Denali park, but you feel more a part of Denali than if you were to stay in the park."
"We stayed four nights in June - about a month after the new owners began running the place. Everything went very smoothly. The cabins are basic - very comfortable, but nothing fancy (but good WiFi). If you can, book one with a front porch looking out toward the park - the views are fabulous. The adjoining coffee shop also has a front porch with a view to enjoy while taking in your morning brew and perhaps one of the tasty breakfast sandwiches. There is even a well-stocked library in a yurt!
Best of all is the location - four miles up a (paved) road from the highway, on the forest/tundra border, complete with critters (we saw several moose and lots of birds). It is completely removed from the madness, mega-resorts and schlock of Glitter Gulch near the Denali park entrance. But the town of Healy is about 10 minutes away and has a couple of good places to eat (Rose's Cafe and 49th State Brewing in particular) as well as groceries, gas, etc.
Only quibble is the need for more effective blackout curtains - with nearly 24-hour daylight in June, it was tough to get a good night's sleep.
All in all, we enjoyed our visit so much that we are planning to return as soon as possible after the park road is finally fully reopened."
"We loved how hospitable the entire EarthSong family was for our whole group. We loved the cabin and that we could step outside and immediately see the beauty of the tundra. Amanda and Michael were so warm and helpful in helping us plan our stay, and the coffee was top-notch at the Coffeehouse!"
"We had a lovely stay at EarthSong Lodge this past June. The cabins were cozy and clean as was the entire property. Henry’s Coffee House next door was a real treat with homemade cinnamon rolls each morning and a full menu of coffee drinks. The hosts can also make sack lunches upon request for your days out exploring the park. Although the location is a bit off the beaten path, staying at EarthSong Lodge provides visitors with a real “taste of Alaska”. Would definitely stay there again!"
"We really enjoyed our stay at Earthsong. The check in was super easy, the cabin very comfortable, charming and clean. We had coffee and breakfast before a day of hiking and all was delicious! Would stay again if I ever get a chance to revisit Denali!!!
Thank you for an amazing stay!"
"Stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful location. New owners are courteous and helpful. Has a quaint breakfast cafe next door. Pretty close to Denali national park entrance/bus depot. We enjoyed our stay!"
"The owners were very kind and welcoming. They are made to run this place. Nice place to stay.
I would recommend it."
"We loved the real cabin feel and library. So charming and comfortable. The views were great!! Beloved use of the refrigerator and whole access to the grounds."
"Great location just a few miles from Denali with cozy and comfortable little cabins."
"Quaint, little cabin that is quiet, clean and comfortable. It's off the main road in a quieter, less traveled area. We saw a female moose with her calf crossing the road one morning."
"This was by far one of the most memorable, wholesome, and comfortable stays I’ve had. The cabins are cozy with many personalized touches. The views are phenomenal with mountains every where you turn and wildlife all around. The location is convenient with easy access to the park without the crowds or noise of the larger hotels. What makes this stay truly special though are the hosts. They are kind, thoughtful, and welcoming in a way that only a local family owned business can be. I cannot more highly recommend the Earthsong Lodge."
"Great stay here! Four of us stayed in the space and we have plenty of room! The beds are comfortable and proximity to Denali national Park without paying an arm and a leg were unmatched!"
"Really cool and comfortable place. Everything was as describedon the website. The staff was super responsive."
"The perfect little cabins in the midst of the Alaska tundra. Great breakfast and welcoming service at Henry’s. The owners are the best! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
"Adorable cabins, off the beaten path, away from the crowds, but close enough to the park if you want to go explore. I live in Anchorage and while a day trip to Denali is doable, it’s much more enjoyable to let my out of state guests stop and get out of the car along the way, take pictures, appreciate what Alaska has to offer, then have a place to rest our heads for the night. Cabin was clean, comfortable, accurately described. Check in and out was very smooth. We got there after the office was closed and had absolutely no issues. They even have a library!"
"It was great staying here. Cozy place, friendly hosts, fantastic location to park, shopping, etc. Great coffee to top it all. I highly recommend this place as part of Denali experience."
"Lovely trip in Healy AK. Totally lucked out with this find. Serene cabin with amazing views. Completely understated from listings online. Mike and amanda have done an amazing job with the entire area of cabins. Would 100% come again."
"Had a lovely time in Healy, AK. Stayed in a cabin for 2 nights. Mike and Amanda had coffee ready at the Henry Coffee house right at open- nice breakfast options. Beautiful facility and would absolutely come back again."
"This place is gorgeous. It’s quiet, peaceful and clean. A slice of heaven. My only regret is that we only booked 1 night and not a whole week."
"The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the comforting natural pine and a pristine, spotless space. The Owners were warm and inviting. I would stay here again."
"Great location and service. Comfortable and yet rustic accommodations. Close to Denali attractions."
"Perfect spot if you have your own wheels and are staying in the Denali area. Nothing fancy but we thought the cabin was cozy and romantic 😊"
"Rustic Alaska feel. We enjoyed our experience at EarthSong lodge. The cabin was small and cozy. Loved breakfast each morning at the restaurant there."
"Very clean and cozy rooms. The property is really well maintained too. We had a great time. Highly recommend."
"We just stayed at Earthsong in July of 2024. The place is fantastic. We would highly recommend it. Our cabin was awesome. It was spotless and very comfortable and the views are fantastic. The property manager Tye, was friendly, always easy to talk to and was always around to be sure we had everything we need. The cafe was a big plus for us because of the added convenience of having a great breakfast before heading out to Denali, and grabbing a great box lunch to take on our day trips. We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again!"
"Great stay at Earthsong. Cabins are very nice (no TVs and not wifi inside the cabins, though some wifi on property) and the area is super quiet with beautiful views. It's a 25 minute drive to Denali park with plenty of opportunities to encounter Moose along the way (more so than inside the park). Totally worth staying here if you're looking to disconnect in a beautiful place. Ty and the staff are wonderful which adds to the experience."
"Chauncey and Jeff were the BEST guides- JJ also was super helpful getting us geared up. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and we had a blast. The dogs were SO happy to get out and run and it was so much fun to be able to experience it. Highly recommend"
"We live in Alaska. When we have guests, we head for Denali National Park, and always stay at EarthSong. The quiet, the views, the clean cozy cabins, the friendly folks all make it a great getaway, even for those of us who are lucky enough to live in the Great Land. It's a quick jaunt to the Park or to the shops and restaurants in Healy. Yet when you are EarthSong you are out of the hustle and bustle of tourist land, and in a special place. It's perfect."
"Jon was kind and gracious. A wonderful host. This was a superb oasis while we explored the area."
"This was a delightful cabin. Convenient to Denali. Clean, comfortable and a lovely connection to the region. We will definitely come again."
"Earthsong was a great place to stay near Denali Park. The best part, hands down, is the sled dog meet and greet, which happens each morning. Cora the manager gives a really informative and friendly presentation, and you get to play with dogs for as long as you want. The overall vibe is rustic cabin, but everything was clean and functional. Its off the beaten track a bit, so its about a 10-20 minute drive to real food and restaurant options. But they do have a cafe on site that sells coffee and pastries in the morning. Just FYI, the cell phone service and even the wifi is not robust."
"Awesome place best nights sleep in a week. Great little coffee House & bagel place on site!!"
"My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. Close to the national park and amenities while also feeling remote and quiet. We both totally recommend!"
"We stayed at Earthsong for one night and loved our stay. We stayed in cabin #5 and had the best view of the mountains! We attended the kennel tour with Courtney, who did an amazing job helping us understand the kennel and dogs. The dogs seemed so happy and in love with their owners, which was so wonderful to see. We loved meeting the dogs and our entire stay at Earthsong! We would recommend this place to our family and friends."
"We did a dogsled trip in February 2023 from EarthSong Lodge and it was everything we dreamed about and more! Everything from the warm gear provided, the incredible hospitality, the amazing dogs and the beautiful tour route was amazing! We learned so much from our guides about the dogs, how to drive a sled and the areas we traveled through. We can’t say enough!"
"Our dogsledding trip was fantastic! Brian and Courtney were very knowledgeable and informative about the local environment. We were comfortable during the entire trip. They made sure that we had plenty of warm gear for the trip.
The scenery was spectacular during this amazing experience.
The dogs are obviously much loved members of their family. I definitely recommend this experience.
My husband and I agree that this was one of the most awesome experiences that we have ever had."
"We did not stay at the lodge, we only did dog sledding. It was very fun! They provide you gear to wear so you don't have to bring extra layers. All the crew were very friendly and were very knowledgeable when we asked questions. You get some very beautiful views on the ride, and of course the dogs are fun to watch."
"The lodge is located about 15 minutes away from the Denali park entrance and the location is amazing. The cabins are very spacious, cozy, super clean and comfortable. All the details during our stay were very thoughtful. We learned while we were there that the co-owner John (who gave us a very warm welcome) was a former park ranger and also runs sled dog expeditions. He also built all the structures!! He gave us very helpful information before our trip into the park and also hosted a tour of his dog kennels. We loved meeting his sled dogs. We enjoyed sitting outside on our balcony in the peace and quiet. The shower and water pressure was great. We also took evening walks down the road to harvest wild berries. The blueberries were delicious! They also have a coffeehouse next door that is open in the morning and serves great coffee and simple options for breakfast. If you wake up late and miss the hours of the coffeehouse, they provide coffee and tea in the communal mini kitchen/sky kiosk. It was exactly what we needed before heading into the park. We absolutely loved our experience at Earthsong and highly recommend the stay here away from the crowds by the Denali entrance."
"Cute and cozy individual lodge - it was perfect for a night after exploring Denali! Loved this place and wished we were staying an additional night - thanks for a great stay!"
"We loved everything while spending two nights at this lodge! The cabins are small but quaint; clean and welcoming. The scenery all around you is beautiful. Quiet and serene spot. Great service from everyone at the lodge. Delicious coffee at Henry's coffee shop. Cannot wait to come back."
"I wish everyone could stay at EarthSong Lodge at least once in their lives...words can't fully express what a great place this is...from the incredible scenery all around you, to the absolute peace & quiet, the very-well-cared-for cabins, and the absolute joy that is Courtney...her smile & genuine love for the place and her dogs shine thru each & every day! And Jon was always available to answer questions, make recommendations, etc.. This was our first trip to Alaska, and without a doubt our next one WILL center around another trip to EarthSong Lodge!"
"John was very helpful in setting up our expedition and today was an UNFORGETABLE experience for my son and i and the amazing dogs and our fantstic guides Kev and Justin. A true once in a lifeitme experience !"
"Our family stayed in two cabins at EarthSong in July of this year (2021). We traveled all over the state, and stayed in many different places (some much more expensive and "nicer"), but among us, we all enjoyed our stay at Earthsong the most. We really appreciated the way we were treated by the staff, including Courtney (manager), who we communicated with prior to, and during our stay. She was warm and welcoming, and allowed us to spend extra time with their sled dogs (we loved the dogs - especially Basil), while she sat and visited with us. We also appreciated Scout, who operated Henry's Coffee House (and breakfast bar). Her service was great, and she was very enjoyable to talk with. The cabins were basic, but were clean and comfortable. The grouping of the cabins along the boardwalks was homey, and had a bit of a "Shire" feel. Because I had to reschedule our trip from 2020 to 2021, I had spoken with the John, the owner numerous times. I always enjoyed talking with him, and he provided me with some tips for our visit to Denali and the hiking I wanted to do there. After reading about him, the family was sorry they did not get to meet him, as he had to be away at the time of our stay. We did some dog mushing before we got to EarthSong. Having spoken with Courtney about dog mushing expeditions they offer, I am very interested in going back to participate in one of their multi-day Denali backcountry sledding trips. If we were back in the area, we would most definitely return to EarthSong."
"Nothing special very rustic very quiet and serene enjoy the beautiful surroundings"
"Spent two nights here while we toured the Denali area. We stayed in a two room cabin. The cabin was tight with four of us + luggage, but we're family so we made it work.
The heat worked exceptionally well in both rooms. Be careful about turning it up too high - you might wake up in the middle of the night and need to shut it off!
Our cabin did not have a refrigerator or microwave. There are common use ones located near the parking lot. That didn't bother us at all, just be aware!
Shower had plenty of hot water and pressure was great.
The view from the property is amazing. We woke up each morning and took a short walk across the road to enjoy the mountains and quietness of the area.
The coffeehouse had great breakfast sandwiches and hot coffee in the morning. That was definitely a plus!
Unfortunately we did not get to interact with Jon and Karin during our stay, or get to meet the sled dogs. But we felt right at home. We'd love to come back and enjoy their hospitality again sometime!"
"Cute little cabins. No TV or internet but great to reconnect with nature. We really enjoyed this place. We drove up for a one night stay. Booked with Courtney who is so sweet and so helpful. We arrived late so they just leave your key in a drop box for you. When we woke up we had coffee and THE BEST BAGEL sandwich EVER!!!! At the coffee shop. My only recommendation would be maybe have a little better mattresses but again its a cabin so maybe thats part of the whole experience. Im not sure. Would recommend this place if you love the whole cabin feel!!!"
"We loved our stay at Earthsong Lodge! The cabin was really charming and surprisingly spacious for a rather small one-room setup. The property overall was really cool, and they have great coffee and breakfast at the cafe onsite in the mornings! It was so cool to see the sled dogs and learn a little more about them. And we saw a moose on Stamped Rd on our way in the first night!!! Easy drive to 49th State Brewing and Denali park entrance. Would highly recommend!"
"We loved our stay here. Quiet cabins out in the wilderness. We even saw a moose while we were driving up to check in. Easy access to Denali national park too"
"What an amazing stay! Feels like a true Alaskan experience. Clean and comfy cabin (we got the largest cabin possible and all slept comfortably). Friendly owner- and we took advantage of the dog tour! Learned so much. All the dogs seemed very happy and were extremely friendly. Drive slowly to spot wildlife - we were able to see a moose and her calf! Great place with incredible views."
"A unique find surrounded by Denali Park/ really cool dog sled kennel and superb daily tour of kennel operation done by the Manager Courtney"
"If you are visiting Denali or the surrounding area this would be a great place to stay. Staying in the cabins offered a genuine outdoors experience. The cabins were very clean, cozy and relaxing. The views from the lodge were surreal. Jon also met us in the morning to take us on a sled dog tour where we were able to meet his dogs and see his equipment. I would highly recommend staying here for a couple of days."
"Stayed here for a couple days while visiting Denali National Park. The room was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly as well. Thank you!"
"Clean, quaint, comfy, private and majestic 360°views of the surrounding Tundra. Denali is visible on a clear day. Friendly Owners and Sled Dogs with daily Kennel Tours at 9:30am. Delicious Cinnamon Rolls! What led me to Earthsong is I had the pleasure of coming to Alaska March, 2020 for the Iditarod and wanted to run some Dogs afterwards. I found Earthsong after some extensive research and saw the great feedback left by other guests. I booked a 4 day dog sled expedition into the Northern Park additions. Mike who is one of Jon's Guides, now retired, is the quintessential Alaskan. We each ran 8 Dog teams a handmade sled and experienced all kinds of different Terrain such as wide open Tundra, Tussocks, Inclines and Declines, River Crossings, Lakes, Spruce and Birch stands. Denali views were breathtaking! You WILL dump the sled. It's gonna happen, it's all part of mushing. Just DON'T LET GO! I wrecked twice and held on tight! No injuries. This trail gives the guest a true Alaskan dog mushing experience unlike some other places that take you into their backyard on flat land and camp a few nights. During our four days, we stayed at 2 differnet cabins. One on Slate Lake and another on the Sushanna. One night on the Sushanna, I decided to take my experience one step further and setup my Bivy and sleep outside with the dogs at -15°! I Slept like a baby and was toasty warm all night! Mike supplied all snacks, beverages and meals. You only need to bring food if you want something extra to snack on, but I found I didn't have to bring anything. Winter gear is also provided if you don't have Winter boots and an oversuit. Mike had more than enough food to last us over a week and cooked some really good meals. The melted snow and ice we drank was some of the best drinking water I ever had. To haul water into the backcountry is unfeasible so don't expect bottled water lol. I also felt 100% safe in the company of Mike even while we encountered several Moose and Herds of Caribou on the trail with deep snow. We experienced close to -30° fahrenheit temperatures the 1st day and never got cold. The entire experience was unlike anything in my life and I've done some pretty intense activities. In fact, I loved this outfit so much that I decided to bring my wife back this summer so we could experience the lodge and the grounds especially during berry season. Our summer stay was just as enjoyable as the dog sled Expedition. We saw tons of wildlife, picked lots of Blueberries and Salmon berries, and saw Denali on one clear morning. The cabins are well furnished, comfy and most importantly CLEAN! Beds were also very comfortable too. There is Sky Kiosk on-site that has a community fridge and various snack fare and Cinnamon Rolls. Coffee is prepared each morning and a single serve maker is available 24/7. The Kiosk was cleaner than an Operating room. One of the best parts of the stay are the daily Kennel tours given at 9:30am. These are some of the nicest, well mannered sled dogs in all of Alaska. We didn't have a chance to visit Henry's coffee shop or experience the slide shows that Jon offers each evening due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions in place. I'm sure we'll do that the next time we come up. We will definitely return in the future! Thanks for the hospitality Jon & Karen! We had a great time and made some great friends!"
"We loved staying at Earthsong lodge! We are hoping to come back for some dogsledding this winter! Courtney and Jon were amazing hosts and the daily kennel tour was a highlight for all especially for our 8 year old and 5 year old. The cabins are cute and comfy! The location was ideal and the ambiance perfect for an authentic Alaskan vacation. I did yoga on the porch and went for a daily run. Being from Juneau I wanted to stay at and support Alaskan owned businesses during this crazy time. I hope others will do the same. It’s an amazing year to visit Denali - no crowds!"
"These guys gave us such an amazing dog sled tour. Words can't do it justice. Courtney was amazing and adorable and all the dog mushers were helpful and friendly. They have all the gear to bundle you up so don't let the cold stop you from hanging out with these fun folks and unstoppable dogs. I'm already ready to go back!!"
"This is awesome wrapped in spectacular. We had the best time exploring Denali and surrounding areas. Cabin was perfect for relaxing after busy days exploring. Cannot recommend this enough as the place to stay when up this way!"
"Terrific place well away from the clutter of the Glitter Gulch area near the park entrance. Gorgeous, cozy cabins, tastefully decorated, each with a different Alaska theme, beautifully maintained. Coffee house serves breakfast & can pack a box lunch for your days in the park. 10/10, will visit again!"
"Great atmosphere, awesome people, breathtaking scenery, interesting story. Truly an incredible accommodation!♥️"
"Great place to stay! All staff super friendly & helpful. Beautiful location that makes us wish we could do a winter trip as that would be magical! Happy trails Jon, Courtney & all the wonderful doggies who are so well cared for - one might say spoiled but only in good ways! Thanks so much for the special memories!"
"We stopped for Henry's coffee and they were kind enough to open for us to brew us a fresh cup. Definitely worth the visit and view to enjoy a delicious beverage in a wonderful quiet area around Denali"
"Had a great time on the dog sled. The guides take you out into Denali and it truly feels like ‘Alaska’. The trails are not a well worn circle. Friendly staff, friendly dogs! Had a blast! Highly recommend!"
"Had an amazing time on the two hour dogsledding tour. The dogs are energetic and playful but still loving like a family pet. The scenery was breathtaking and our guides were knowledgeable. We highly suggest doing this tour! The picture is of Hammer, she is the sweetest leader dog ever. During the preparation she was following me around and wanted to sit right next to me to be spoiled. They take in rejected, injured, or retiring dogs from the professional teams then give them a home."
"Seriously, stay here. The views are spectacular, the cabins cozy, and the dogs are just amazing"
"In Healy, 15 miles up the road from Denali Park entrance. Amazing place. Amazing people. Dog sledding training facility and enclave of quaint rustic cabins off the beaten path (when you are already off the beaten path) in Healy. I hope life brings us back here again! Thanks for being there and doing what you do EarthSong!"
"This is one of my favorite places in the entire world. Stay here. You will NOT be disappointed in the views, the amazing cabins, the friendly hosts, or the Sled Dog Team!"
"Comfortable little log cabins located a short drive from Denali Park and well away from the commercialism and tourism of the park. Parking can be an issue as there are way more cabins than parking spaces, but it all seems to work out. The lodge is also home to sled dogs, who bark quite a bit, but they're quiet at night. The evening slides show is interesting and Henry's Coffeehouse is charming."
"Cozy cabins, great friendly staff, Courtney is amazing, more energy than most people. Shes the caretaker and dog momma to 26 dogs ! This is an amazing experience, puppies are awesome too, you get an up close tour of the kennel. The lodge is remote enough from town to feel the real Alaska experience but close enough to enjoy adventures and Denali."
"Really very good place...cozy and independent ...the owners own a big dog kennel and do morning tours. . really amazed to see this side of locals life and winter dogs life and likes ... The staff is really nice and helpful... WiFi is not strong and usually don't catch in lodges ..but don't expect much of network in this remote location... for those who want to stay far away from city but in comfort of a beautiful lodge."
"Great place to stay! Located in the beautiful mountains and you can even drive down the road to get a view of Denali on a clear day/night! Courtney was super accommodating and kind. This place is much better than some of the places that are cookie-cutter hotels. Grab a latte at the coffee house when you get a chance, too! Looking forward to returning sometime!"
"Courtney is awesome! Worked with us over the phone on getting into a cabin last minute. We had Cabin #1. Absolutely loved this place! Staff is wonderful and definitely made you feel at home. Will definitely come back in the future!!! Couldn't get my daughter to leave the dogs in the morning!"
"Great place to stay. Nice, quiet, and clean. Staff is great. Evenings you get a slide show and place to get a good inexpensive breakfast in the morning."
"Awesome place to stay! Highly recommend! The manager is very nice and helpful. Looking forward to a trip back here."
"My wife and I loved our stay at EarthSong while visiting Denali National Park. The Sled Dog Cabin was roomy and thoughtfully decorated. Sitting on the back deck admiring the mountain view across the tundra was a favorite pastime. Jon was one of the kindest and interesting hosts we have ever had. We loved learning about his experiences as a Park Ranger in Denali. Definitely check out his slideshow! The best experience of our stay was hands down meeting the huskies. We definitely want to come back, the winter sled excursions sound amazing!"
"This is the most beautiful place in terms of hotel that I have ever been to. Most other place I just sleep. This place if I had time I would just sit outside and enjoy the view. 11 out of 10."
"Wonderful cabins and hospitality, highly recommend if you are staying in the Denail area."
"The cabins here are amazing. They are cozy pieces of paradise hand built with a spectacular view of the region. Courtney is an amazing manager who helped make the trip extra special. The cabins are located just away from the tourist area, so it's a great place to relax in the quiet of Denali. Nothing fancy, but a perfect place to get away."
"Excellent experience! Very friendly staff. The cabins are adorable and allow guests to experience the beautiful park."
"Great small cabins to stay in while you are visiting Denali. Just be prepared for a fairly minimalist cabin experience as the cabins have all of the basics but bring small in nature prevent bigger things like a TV or a bath tub. The microwave and fridge are not in the cabins but in a separate small building by the entrance. Still the cabins are cozy, clean, and well maintained."
"I enjoyed my stay at Earthsong. Proprietors Jon and Karin work hard to provide a great, all round quality Alaskan experience for guests. Liked the tastefully decorated and clean cabins, the quiet environment, and opportunity to hear and see more about Alaska and Denali than staying somewhere on the main road. It's just a little (4 miles) off the main highway. Earthsong is a great place to unwind, sit out on the cabin deck on a summer evening or walk and watch the sun not set. The morning coffee and food (cinnamon rolls:) at onsite Henry's were tasty and reasonably priced."
